Roger Marvin King

It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Marvin King, age 81, of Truro, and formerly of Amherst, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016 in the Truro hospital.

Born in Nappan Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Lloyd King and Marion (Gouchie) Tully.

Roger worked for Enamel Heating for many years. He loved buying, selling and tinkering with anything electronic. With all his watches and clocks collection, time was always on his side. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchild­ren.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter Caroline LeBlanc (Craig Milley), grandchild­ren Matthew LeBlanc, Chantal Milley and Kelsey Milley, all of Amherst.

Roger was predecease­d by his grandmothe­r Susan Gouchie, who was like a mother to him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. at Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (902) 667-9906.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Campbell’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donnie Miller officiatin­g.

Interment will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish, N.S.
