Wanted Part Time General Laborers / Assembly Line Workers.

Job Description

Laborers perform a variety of tasks at the St. John’s Distribution Center. Most tasks can be learned quickly and training is provided for any other tasks requiring more experience. General laborers will be required to work both inside and outside and as such should be prepared to work in outside conditions. Some tasks are labor intensive and require standing for long periods of time.

Job Duties

The job duties of a general laborer vary. They may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as, forklifts, levels, lifts, hand inserting and automated assembly line equipment.

Requirements

Applicant must be punctual, reliable and willing to work in a team setting. Applicant must be willing to actively participate in the Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality programs. Our Production is weekend based so applicant must be available from Friday to Monday. Work schedule is subjected to change to change. General laborers must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, have good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work long periods. Some tools and machines are computerized; requiring technical knowledge. English proficiency is needed for this role.
