NLCA supports certification program for local industry
Locally, the Gold Seal Certification process requires candidates to provide information about past training, work experience, and a letter of recommendation from an employer. Candidates receive study guides and are required to take an exam at the NLCA and have it reviewed by a national board.
The Gold Seal Certification process shows that our professionals understand what it takes to successfully deliver construction projects safely, effectively and efficiently, while always ensuring industry standards and best practices. It truly is the gold standard of our industry.
Take some time during Construction Education Month to consider what new skills you can add to your toolbox and get in touch with the NLCA for help to reach those goals.
Prospective Gold Seal candidates should consider the advantages of the certification and get in touch with the NLCA at (709)-753-8920 or by e-mail at aconnors@nlca.ca. Owners of construction projects employ Gold Seal Certified individuals because they can be confident in the skills and expertise these certified workers bring to the table.
