Niagara College holding career fairs at two campuses
Niagara College students and alumni can explore job opportunities, hand out resumes, network and meet with potential employers from a variety of industries during a three-day career fair.
Hosted by the college’s student services division, the event will bring to Niagaraon-the-Lake and Welland campuses exhibitors from companies in Niagara and across Canada who are recruiting for full-, part-time, co-op and seasonal positions.
The Welland career fair is today 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Learning Commons, while the Niagara-on-the-Lake one takes place in the main level and lower level of Marotta Family Innovation Centre Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.
More than 35 employers — seeking to recruit from program areas including health and community services, fitness, police foundations and security, business and accounting, computers, motive power, electronic and mechanical engineering, industrial automation, robotics, welding and more — will be at the Welland campus.
In Niagara-on-the-Lake, more than 50 employers will meet with students, representing a variety of industries including hospitality and tourism, horticulture and cannabis production, culinary and beverage, sales and marketing, and more.
