Niagara College holding career fairs at two campuses

Niagara College students and alumni can explore job opportunit­ies, hand out resumes, network and meet with potential employers from a variety of industries during a three-day career fair.

Hosted by the college’s student services division, the event will bring to Niagaraon-the-Lake and Welland campuses exhibitors from companies in Niagara and across Canada who are recruiting for full-, part-time, co-op and seasonal positions.

The Welland career fair is today 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Learning Commons, while the Niagara-on-the-Lake one takes place in the main level and lower level of Marotta Family Innovation Centre Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.

More than 35 employers — seeking to recruit from program areas including health and community services, fitness, police foundation­s and security, business and accounting, computers, motive power, electronic and mechanical engineerin­g, industrial automation, robotics, welding and more — will be at the Welland campus.

In Niagara-on-the-Lake, more than 50 employers will meet with students, representi­ng a variety of industries including hospitalit­y and tourism, horticultu­re and cannabis production, culinary and beverage, sales and marketing, and more.
