PERRI, Sue
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden unexpected passing of Sue at home on April 10, 2019 at 3:45 p.m. with Walt by her side. Beloved wife of Walt Perri for 54 years. Loving mother of Jeff (Eunice), Greg (Kandace), and Randy (predeceased 2012). Cherished grandma of 1 0 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Graham (Helen), Beth (Brad), and ex sister-in-law, Joan, as well as many, many relatives and friends. She was born in Calgary, AB and was raised in East Van until the age of 16 where true, lifelong friendships blossomed with Bertha, Pat, and Sue. Although her family moved to N Van, she continued schooling at Van Tech and Walt became her best friend, marrying him on January 31, 1965. Displaying more of her enduring personality she befriended Maureen at 18 with a lifelong friendship as well. This was a strong trait in Sue, once a friend always a friend. For 20 years she worked for The North Shore News. But Sue’s passion was family, and was always there for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially in the sports games; she was always their greatest fan! Perri Christmas and Picnics were her favourites as long as it involved family! Osoyoos was the highlight for her 52 years, with the annual memory building cousin camp continuing to this day. Dreaming to travel across Canada, she fulfilled this with Walt in 2017, along with cruises with Walt and Joan. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11750 207 St, Maple Ridge, BC V2X 1X3. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saints Rescue, 33860 Dlugosh, Maple Ridge, BC V2V 6B2.
