HERITAGE TALK: The Peterborough Historical Society is marking Ontario's Heritage Week with a public Heritage in the Age of Climate Change lecture by Erik Hanson, heritage resources coordinator for the city. Environment issues concern heritage deeply. Cities, and the buildings which comprise them, account for more than 75 per cent of the world's greenhouse gases. Building super-efficient new buildings doesn't help fix the problem: rehabilitating and repurposing old buildings does. All welcome. From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 347 Burnham St. 705-740-2600. info@ peterboroughhistoricalsociety.ca
