If you are a golfer come out to the Lakefield Legion's annual Jim Warren Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 27 at Katchiwano Golf. Two person best ball in groups of four. Cost is $80 per person. This includes green fees, power cart, prizes and striploin dinner at the Legion. Strawberry supper: Enjoy a strawberry supper with sittings at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3 at Fairview United Church, 724 Centre Line of Smith, north of the Zoo. Odds and Sods sale: at the locks in Young's Point will be held by Young's Point United Church on Saturday, July 6. The sale begins at 9:30 a.m. under the big tent. A free barbeque for the community starts at 11 a.m. Proceeds will help the church to continue its outreach in the community. A Feast for the Eyes Craft Show: featuring original arts and crafts will be held at Bridgenorth United Church from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 13. Fifty tables will showcase potters, painters, jewellery, artisans, woodworkers, knitters and more! The Lunch Cafe will be open for your pleasure.
