• Auction 45s – Pictou New Horizons Club, 7 p.m. Admission $2.
• Karaoke – New Glasgow Legion by Doug Odo, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
• Family Lego Time – Pictou library, runs all day. All are welcome.
• Card Party – Bridgeville Community Hall 7:30 p.m. Lunch served. Everyone welcome.

• NFB Film Club – Rain, Drizzle and Fog, River John Library 6:15 p.m., about the history of the St. John’s, N.L., harbour.
• Live music – Trenton Legion with Dennis & Bud 8 p.m.-close. Br. #29 closed on Good Friday.
• 20 Minutes at the Foot of the Cross – First Baptist Church, New Glasgow, 12:10 p.m. Speaker: Wilma Jansen.
March 30
• Good Friday Drama – With Music, First Baptist Drama Ministry (New Glasgow), at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. There is no admission charge for this year’s presentation, Hope: Christ Alone, Cornerstone.
• Ecumenical Worship Service – St. James Anglican Church, Pictou, 10 a.m. Good Friday worship, followed by ‘walk with the cross.’
March 31
• Easter Egg Hunt – First Baptist Church, 896 East River Rd., New Glasgow, 11 a.m. Two floors of hidden eggs with treats inside. One floor for pre-schoolers, one for older children.
• Auction 45s – Trenton Legion 1 p.m.
April 1
• Ecumenical Worship Service
– McCulloch House Museum, Haliburton Rd., Pictou. Sunrise worship; Pictou United, 10:30 a.m. Easter Sunday worship.
• Chase the Ace – Will not be held at Trenton Legion on Easter Sunday but will return April 8. Advance tickets: Tartan Blade Barbershop, Needs in Trenton, Needs at Stellarton Rotary, Sobeys Express, Abercrombie Variety, Cornish’s Variety and Cocoa Beach Tanning.
• Crown the Queen – Will not be held this week due to Easter Sunday. Next draw April 8, with jackpot over $24,000.
April 2
• Aberdeen Hospital Auxiliary – Regular meeting at 12:30 p.m. in the first floor boardroom.
April 3

• 50 Plus Club – Meeting at the New Glasgow Fire Department 1:30 p.m. Speaker will be Shelley Thompson from the Women’s Centre.
• Music Circle Jam – West Branch Hall 6:30-9:30 p.m. Admission for players is free, listeners free will, $2.50 suggested. Light refreshments. Proceeds to community hall.
Until April 13
• Art in the Hall 2 – Museum of Industry, Stellarton, rotating installations of art by Pictou County artists. Curated by the Art At Large Collective, it features seven new and emerging artists – carvings to weavings, charcoal drawings to photography based multimedia. Free admission to view show.

• Exhibit of Photographs – Created by Michael Hagenbuch and Michael Byrne, at The Bistro, 216 Archimedes St., New Glasgow.
Coming May 5
