• Knitting Circle – Alternatin­g Saturdays at 2:30 p.m., New Glasgow library.

• Auction 45’s – Pictou New Horizons Club, 7 p.m. Admission $2.

• Karaoke – New Glasgow Legion by Doug Odo, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.

• Family Lego Time – Pictou library, runs all day. All are welcome.

• Card Party – Bridgevill­e Community Hall 7:30 p.m. Lunch served. Everyone welcome.

• Imaginatio­n Saturdays – Make something cool to take home, crafts, Lego (drop-in, all ages) 10 a.m.4:30 p.m. Pictou Library; 10 a.m.3 p.m. River John Library; 10 a.m.3 p.m. Westville Public Library; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Stellarton Public Library.

• Steak Darts – Pictou Legion 1:30 p.m.

• Chase The Ace – Stellarton legion, tickets sold 7-10 pm. in the lounge. Draw 10:30 sharp! Winner or designated ticket holder must be present for draw. This week’s jackpot is $ 2367. Karaoke upstairs 8-12, $3 adm.

February 3

• Benefit Dance – For Dennis (Denny) Turnbull who has a serioius

health issue. Stellarton legion 8 p.m.-1 a.m.

• Old Time Gospel Concert – North Nova High School 7 pm.

• Auction 45’s – Trenton Legion 1 p.m.

February 4

• Guided Snowshoe Hike – Fitzpatric­k Mountain trail and the Jitney Trail in Scotsburn 1:30 pm. You must pre-register at ericnosliw­1@gmail.com and bring your own snowshoes. Qualify to win a trail prize. See www. hikenovasc­otia.ca for details. Another hike will be Summit Loop trail at Keppoch Mountain in Antigonish, 1 p.m. Bring your own snowshoes.

• In The Spirit 5 – Local Talent from Pictou town churches: Singing, dancing, skits, music and more! Pictou United Church 7 p.m. Tickets $10 available at the door or from any Pictou town church or call 902 4858081 to reserve.

• Broken Mug Café – Being put on by the youth of The Salvation Army Westville, 7-9 p.m. Tickets $5 at the door, at Salvation Army, Westville. Craft table also.

• Book on Sale – Latest by Clyde MacDonald, available from members of Pictou County Roots Society at Highland Square Mall, New Glasgow, starting at 11 a.m. All proceeds go to the Pictou County Roots Society.

February 10
