Stony Plain/Spruce Grove/ Enoch RCMP search warrant results in arrests
On July 18, 2018 at 5:13 P.M., Stony Plain/ Spruce Grove/Enoch RCMP received a complaint regarding a theft of some items from a storage locker located in Spruce Grove, Alberta. The incident occurred sometime within the previous 2 weeks.
Items missing included personal items and five fully restored vintage motorcycles with a value of approximately $25,000.00.
Stony Plain/ Spruce Grove and Enoch Serious Crimes Unit worked collectively on gathering intelligence and identifying the location of the motorcycles. As a result, a search warrant was obtained and the motorcycles were recovered from a residence in Stony Plain, Alberta.
The motorcycles have since been returned to their owner.
A male and a female were arrested. Both were charged with Possession of Stolen Property over five thousand dollars.
Matthew Boreen, 33 years old, from Stony Plain, Alberta was remanded into custody. His first appearance is on July 25, 2018 at Stony Plain Provincial Court.
Stefanie Dul, 27 years old, from Stony Plain, Alberta, was released with conditions. She was due to appear in court on July 25, 2018 at Stony Plain Provincial Court.
