Suddenly, on May 12th, John Patrick “Pat” Rossiter, age 69, passed away at his residence in Morell. Pat is survived by his children, Jan (Hong Kong), John Michael (Misty)(morell), Caleigh (Matthew Macdonald) (Peakes), Nathan ( Stratford); and the mother of his children, Nancy. His grandchild­ren, Denver, Tyson, Carson, Blake, Cohen, Jack, and Allie. His siblings, Mike, Mary Louise (John Macdonald), Joe (Beryl), Larry, and Barb (Max Park). His uncle, Wilfred Driscoll; aunts, Bernie Lewis and Pauline O’hanley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predecease­d by his parents, Jack and Peggy Rossiter; and his aunts and uncles, Stuart and Helena Macewen, Toddy and Aquinas Ryan, Fr. Joe Rossiter, Mary Driscoll, Henry, Eugene, BJ and Desi O’hanley, Kit and Harold Thompson, Jackie Lewis, Mary (Mae) and Jack Macdonald. Pat was a skilled Red-seal electricia­n for 40 years and was especially proud of being a part of working on the Confederat­ion Bridge. He will be remembered for his natural gift for conversati­on. Pat always loved to chat and would strike up a conversati­on with anyone he encountere­d. He took immense pride in talking about his children and grandchild­ren and loved to share stories of their accomplish­ments and milestones. He will be dearly missed. May he rest peacefully. Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottet­own Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from The Church of The Little Flower, Morell at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Little Flower Cemetery.
