At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Thursday May 9, 2024 of Enid M. MacKay aged 85 years of Clinton View Lodge Clinton. Wife of the late Weirum MacKay. Born in French River, January 11, 1939, daughter of the late George and Jean (Stewart) Howatt. After marrying Weirum MacKay, they settled in Clinton where they raised their four boys. They later moved to Kensington before Enid Spent her last years in Clinton View Lodge. Mother of Brian (Kathy), Blake (Leona) and Marvin (Bev). Grandmothe­r of Lydia-Jean (Greg), Kevin (Katie), Luke (Sarah), Bryanna (Joe), and Kalina. Great-grandmothe­r of Max, Aidan, Jack, Maddy and Hudson. Sister of Dr. Erwin Howatt, Wendell (Marion) Howatt, and Dr. Eric (Paula) Howatt. Sister-in-law of Dr. Terry Simpson, Mary (Melville) Johnson, and Nancy MacKay. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predecease­d by sons Kevin and Alexander, sister Sharon Simpson, brothers-in-law Dr. Willard (Marion) MacKay and Dr. W. Allan MacKay and sisters-inlaw Heather Howatt and Ola MacKay. The family would like to acknowledg­e the excellent care given to Enid by the staff of Clinton View Lodge and Prince County Hospital over the years. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Monday from 3-6 p.m. Funeral Tuesday at the Kensington United Church at 11 a.m. The service will be available to view online after 2 p.m. on the day of the funeral on the online death notice on the funeral home’s website.
