Music P.E.I. Awards winners announced
Some of P.E.I.’S top performers were honoured March 10 during this year’s Music P.E.I. Awards gala at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown.
There were 25 awards given out with Noah Malcolm, Sirène et Matelot and The Umbrella Collective leading the way with two awards each.
Planned performances included nominees Tara Maclean, Inn Echo, Sirène et Matelot, Noah Malcolm, joined by special guests Jenn Grant and Paper Lions and a house band led by musical director Craig Fair.
Mathias Kom and Ariel Sharratt of The Burning Hell were this year’s hosts.
The awards gala was held on the last day of a five-day celebration including concerts and showcases.
