AFFLECK, Terrence William

The funeral mass for Terrence (Tarney) William Affleck was celebrated Saturday, January 4, 2020 from Hillsboro Funeral Home to Our Lady of the Assumption Church with Celebrant Fr. Martin Carter proclaiming the gospel and delivering the homily. The pall was placed by Ethan Affleck, Carson Affleck and Drew Gormley Foote. The paschal candle was lit by Kendra and Amy Gormley. The first reading was proclaimed by Emily Bruce, second reading by Bertha Dennis and the prayers of intercession by Della Smith. Music was provided by Our Lady of the Assumption Choir accompanied by organist - Pat Steele. The processional hymn was “Be Not Afraid”, responsorial psalm - “The Lord is my Shepherd”, offertory “Here I Am Lord”, communion “The Old Rugged Cross”, farewell - “Songs of the Angels” and the recessional hymn was “Amazing Grace”. The cross bearer was Ajay Mathew Punnapadam; the altar servers were Al Berberich and Arlene Trainor and the holy water and incense bearer was Clair Arsenault. The Eucharistic Minister were Betty Affleck and Bertha Dennis. The Flower Bearers were Beryl Dennis, Barbie Affleck, Jennifer MacIsaac, Sarah Cormier, Kimberly Doyle, Jamie-Lynn Mosher, Susan McQuaid and Drake Gormley Foote. The Honorary Pallbearers were Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. The pallbearers were David MacDonald, Jimmy Affleck, Laurence Gauthier, Devan Gormley, Nathan Bruce, Jim Day and Darrell Affleck. Interment will take place later at Our Lady of the Assumption Cemetery. Everyone was invited to a reception in the Church Hall immediately following the funeral mass.
