Saturday, March 10, 9 a.m. to noon, for G’ma Circle of Charlottetown’s annual Fabric and Yarn Sale at Spring Park United Church auditorium. Donations of unused fabric a half metre or longer, balls of knitting and/or crochet yarn, pattern books, knitting needles, craft supplies, sewing notions, etc. are welcomed. Call Carolyn, 902-368-1154. Donations can be dropped off at the church auditorium on March 9, 4-7 p.m. (do not drop off donations at the church office or on the day of the sale). All proceeds are to the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign.
Presentation
The public is welcome to attend Preserving Your Memories, a free presentation, on Feb. 20, 10 a.m., at the Milton Community Hall (7 New Glasgow Rd., Route 224, North Milton) about preserving photos and mementos. Good Neighbourly Club Fitness Program at Tracadie Community Centre is on Mondays, 6:30 p.m., with low impact fitness using body weights, dumb bells and exercise balls. All fitness levels are welcome. Cost is $4, pay as you go.
