Doris Janie a resident of Dresden passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg at the age of 88. Born in Prince Edward Island, daughter of the late Merrill and Annie (Andrews)

Green. Beloved wife of the late Lea Roberts (1989). Loving mother of Gregg (Stephanie), Don (Betty), Doug (Sue), John (Jen) and Jeff (Linda). Cherished grandma of Tyler (Jodi), Jason (Ann), Chris, Scott, Leah (Curtis), Ian, Tim, Ben, Hilary, Adam, Peter, Corey (Kaity), Cassandra and Caitlyn. Sadly missed by her great grandchildren: Jared, Kayleigh and Clara. Dear sister of Verna Craswell and Wendall and Orville Green. Predeceased by her daughterin-law Linda, and brothers Wes, Ralph, George, Harold, Roy, and Carl. Doris and Lea worked side by side for 35 years operating the Dresden Veterinary Clinic, serving many Dresden and area families and their animals. The Roberts family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St., Dresden on Thursday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. The Catherine McVean Chapter IODE, Dresden will hold a service on Thursday evening at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated from the Dresden Community Church, 29043 Community Road, Dresden on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
