The funeral for Bonnie MacEachern was held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottet­own Funeral Home to Trinity United Church where the funeral service was conducted by Reverend Dr. Karen MacLeod-Wilkie. During the service, words of love, thanks and praise were offered by daughter Bonnie Jean MacEachern on behalf of the family, followed by the musical selection, We Rise Again; vocals provided by Terry Hatty, Kelly Mooney, granddaugh­ter Tilly MacEachern; accompanie­d by son-in-law Sean Ferris on piano. Other selections chosen were, The Old Rugged Cross, How Great Thou Art and Amazing Grace, all favorites of Bonnie “K”. The pallbearer­s were sons Leslie MacEachern, Frank MacEachern, Ian MacEachern, Allan MacEachern, David MacEachern and grandson Jamie MacIsaac. The honorary pallbearer­s were daughters, Carilyn MacIsaac, Marilyn Veach, Gael MacEachern, Elspeth MacEachern and Bonnie Jean MacEachern. Flower bearers were grandchild­ren, Jamie MacIsaac, Menna MacIsaac, Kalmia Simmonds, Elias Simmonds, Nara Simmonds, Janson Simmons, Keslie MacEachern, Katya MacEachern, Larissa MacEachern, Tate Ferris, Alexandra MacEachern, Meghan Ferris, Annie MacEachern, Chloe Sutcliffe-MacEachern, Emma MacEachern, Isaac MacEachern, Tillie MacEachern, Mistaya Veach, Jasper Veach, Sophie Burns, Sebastian Burns, Simon Burns, Hannah Burns, Conor MacEachern, Declan MacEachern, and Seamus MacEachern. The interment took place in the Sherwood Cemetery, where Reverend MacLeod-Wilkie held the graveside service. A sincere thank you to family and friends for their love and support at this time.
