Di CARLO, Ross Edward

Passed away at the age of 70, in Halifax on the night of June 14, 2020 in QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Que., he was the son of Joseph Di Carlo and Gwendolyn Helen Drummond. Ross was a Bishop’s graduate who spent most of his working carreer as a distinguished business man with IBM and Xerox. Ross enjoyed sailing and scuba diving the coast of Nova Scotia in his younger years, travelling the world, sports, history, meeting new people and spending his time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him and remembered as a great man. Ross was always kind and willing to help anyone, with a keen sense of humour he would always try to make everyone he met smile in any situation. He was a great son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Ross, we love you, and will always miss you. His family leaves this prayer: "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. " Survived by his wife, Marie Theriault/di Carlo of 45 years of mariage; his son, Vincent Di Carlo and daughterin-law, Breagh Di Carlo; and grandchildren, Nico and Mia Di Carlo. A celebration of life will be held ar a later date once outside travel is acceptable, and notifications will be sent out by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
