ummer might be coming to an end, but for Townshippers, it becomes an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of autumn, especially at Mont Sutton. The Mont Sutton Fall Festival was launched over the weekend and will be continuing every weekend until October 14 as the season and the fall colours progress.

For five weekends in a row, visitors will be able to take part in a variety of outdoor activities, like chairlift rides, a nature photo exhibit, yoga-hikes, mountain biking, mini obstacle courses, and guided hikes to the Chute du Pékan and the Marmite aux sorcières, two thrilling natural settings on the mountain waiting to be explored.

Children will be able to express their creativity during countless arts and crafts workshops, while adults will be able to enjoy a good show at the base of the mountain, where several musicians will perform on Singers Saturdays and Jazz Sundays presented by the Sutton Jazz Festival. Jean-philip Pothier, Lauriane Yargeau, Édouard Lagacé, The Honeysuckle Sisters, and Pierre-luc Belval are only a few of the Fall Festival performers who will entertain visitors.

The Mont Sutton Fall Festival is also an opportunity for visitors to discover mountain biking. On every day of the festival, biking trails will be open, with initiation lessons that include the rental of the necessary equipment. Lessons start at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. every weekend. On Saturday, October 5, there will be a free Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day event.

Initiations to snowboarding will also be held on foam-floors, with slackline trial zones and local wine tasting. There will be a ski and gear sale for people who wish to get fully equipped in preparation for the winter season. For a detailed schedule, please visit:
