CFUW Sherbrooke and District

CFUW Sherbrooke and District is pleased to present Mr. Joe Macneil, former Deputy Director General of the Cree School Board (CSB) of Quebec. He is currently lead consultant for MACABC School Improvement Services, collaborating with Cree Schools to ‘close the achievement gap’. Mr. Macneil will speak about his experiences working to address the academic achievement gap, what CSB has done to improve Cree schools and key approaches that have shown success in other First Nation schools in Canada. A question period will follow his presentation. Please note that this presentation will be in English.

The Breakfast meeting will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 256 Queen Street, Lennoxville on April 11 from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by the presentation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Reservations are not necessary. The premises are handicapped accessible.
