Stars added to Country Thunder lineup

-

Tim Mcgraw, Jake Owen and Dallas Smith will be joining Chris Stapleton as headliners for Country Thunder 2019 in Craven.

Country Thunder announced the news Monday morning at the Canadian Western Agribition in Regina.

“The timing was right with both Mcgraw and Owen enjoying banner years, while Dallas Smith has grown into a superstar, first appearing in the Craven Valley in 2012,” Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO Troy Vollhoffer said in a news release.

Stapleton’s appearance as the 2019 Sunday night headliner was announced at the 2018 festival.

He burst onto the scene in 2015 with Traveller, his solo debut album, and followed up with From A Room: Volume 1 and From A Room: Volume 2, both released in 2017.

Mcgraw has been a headliner previously, in 2005 and 2013.

Smith played on the mainstage at last year’s festival.

In addition to these headliners, expect to see:

Steve Earle and the Dukes, Lonestar (original lineup) Travis Tritt, Terri Clark, Gord Bamford, Shawn Austin, The Reklaws, Meghan Patrick, The Road Hammersjojo Mason, Jimmie Allen and The Hunter Brothers.

The festival runs July 11-14, 2019. A four-day general admission ticket is $150.
