Toronto Stock Exchange (16,017.23, down 87.20 points).

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB). Health care. Down 53 cents, or 4.25 per cent, to $11.93 on 24.8 million shares.

Element Fleet Management Corp. (TSX:EFN). Financials. Up $1.35, or 20.15 per cent, to $8.05 on 13.2 million shares.

RNC Minerals. (TSX:RNX). Metals. Down three cents, or 3.2 per cent, to 91 cents on 12 million shares.

Wallbridge Mining Company Ltd. (TSX:WM). Base metals. Up two cents, or 7.3 per cent, to 29.5 cents on 11.5 million shares.

Aphria Inc. (TSX:APH). Health care. Down $1.74, or 9.8 per cent, to $16.02 on 10.7 million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Energy. Down 14 cents, or 3.6 per cent, to $3.78 on 7.3 million shares. Firms reporting major news: BCE Inc. (TSX:BCE). Down 10 cents at $52.27. Bell Canada and its media arm have won a round in their battle against regulatory restrictio­ns on their activities as television content producers and distributo­rs. The Federal Court of Appeal has issued a 2-1 split decision that agrees with Bell’s argument that the Broadcasti­ng Act doesn’t give the CRTC authority to enforce its “wholesale code.”

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. (TSX:MFI). Up $1.89 or 6.2 per cent to $32.51. Maple Leaf Foods signed a deal to buy Viau Foods, a maker of Italian cooked, dry-cured and charcuteri­e meats, for $215 million. CEO Michael McCain says the deal expands its position in the market for premium dry cured and pepperoni meat products and adds production capacity in Quebec. Viau employs 470 people at its facilities in Laval, Que., and Montreal.
