CFL POWER RANKINGS WEEK 9
HAMILTON: There hasn’t been a Ticats team this fearsome since John Barrow and Angelo Mosca made The Hammer a grim and terrible place to play.
CALGARY: The Stampeders love their recuperative time. A blowout of the Redblacks ran head coach John Hufnagel’s record to 9-0 following a bye week.
TORONTO: A comeback game for Chad Kackert in keeping with a team that has bounced back when trailing in all five of its victories.
EDMONTON: Customer complaints about spotty Shaw service — after kicker Grant Shaw missed three field goal attempts against the Alouettes.
OTTAWA: All the ghosts of ghastly Ottawa teams of the past returned after the Redblacks absorbed a 45-point crushing under the Calgary stampede.
WINNIPEG: S’ wonderful. S’ marvellous. Bomber fans strike up the Gershwin tune after an encouraging starting debut by QB Robert Marve.
MONTREAL: After three straight losses, the Alouettes face the Lions — at BC Place Stadium, where they’re winless since 2000.
B.C.: There’s lots of coaching/management gab going on after a 30-point beat down by the Ticats, but issues go much deeper than one game.
SASKATCHEWAN: The bye week was a blessing for Saskatchewan, enabling the Riders to show progress by losing no more games than they already have.
