PASSING STARS

Nick Foles, Eagles, below, was 22 for 28 for 406 yards and an NFL record-tying seven touchdown passes in Philadelph­ia’s 49-20 win over Oakland. Foles is one of seven players in NFL history to throw seven touchdown passes in a single game and joins Hall of Famer Y.A. Tittle (Oct. 28, 1962) and Peyton Manning (Sept. 5, 2013) as the only ones to accomplish the feat without throwing an intercepti­on.

Tom Brady, Patriots, finished 23 for 33 for a season-high 432 yards and four touchdowns in New England’s 55-31 victory over Pittsburgh.

Tony Romo, Cowboys, was 34 for 51 for 337 yards with two touchdown passes and an intercepti­on in Dallas’s 27-23 win over Minnesota.

Jason Campbell, Browns, was 23 for 35 for 262 yards and three touchdown passes in Cleveland’s 24-18 win over Baltimore.

RECEIVING STARS

Pierre Garcon, Redskins, right, had seven catches for 172 yards in Washington’s 3024 OT win over San Diego.

Jimmy Graham, and Robert Meachem, Saints. Graham had nine catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns and Meachem had four catches for 93 yards in New Orleans’ 26-20 loss to the New York Jets.

RUSHING STARS

Mike James, Buccaneers, had 28 carries for 158 yards and a touchdown pass in Tampa Bay’s 27-24 OT loss to Seattle.

Chris Johnson, Titans, had 23 carries for 150 yards and two touchdowns in Tennessee’s 28-21 win over St. Louis.

Adrian Peterson, Vikings, finished with 25 carries for 140 yards and a touchdown in Minnesota’s 27-23 loss to Dallas.

DEFENSIVE STARS

Sean Smith, below right, and Tamba Hali, Chiefs. Smith returned an intercepti­on 100 yards for a touchdown and Hali returned a fumble 11 yards for a touchdown in Kansas City’s 23-13 win over Buffalo.

Drayton Florence, Panthers, returned an intercepti­on 38 yards for a touchdown in Carolina’s 34-10 victory over Atlanta.

Sean Lissemore, Chargers, had an intercepti­on in the end zone for a touchdown in San Diego’s 30-24 loss to Washington.

SPECIAL TEAM STARS

Nick Folk, Jets, was 4 for 4 on field goals in New York’s 26-20 win over New Orleans. Folks streak of 23 consecutiv­e field goals made is the longest current streak in the NFL.

STREAKS & STATS

Kansas City (9-0) remained the NFL’s only undefeated team and matched the best start in franchise history set in 2003. The Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to start 9-0 after posting the worst record in the league in the previous season. ... In the Super Bowl era, 18 teams have started 9-0 and all 18 qualified for the playoffs. Eleven of those 18 clubs advanced to the Super Bowl and seven won the Super Bowl. Kansas City coach Andy Reid is the third coach in NFL history to win his first nine games with a new team. He joins Jim Caldwell (14 with the 2009 Indianapol­is Colts) and Wally Lemm (nine with the 1961 Houston Oilers) as the only head coaches to accomplish the feat. The Chiefs held their ninth consecutiv­e opponent to 17 points or fewer to match an NFL record set by the 1977 Atlanta Falcons. Kansas City also snapped a six-game losing streak at Orchard Park.
