A PR birthday party and a Rolex launch get year started
With the darkest January in years, there were no Januar y blues to be found at the 25th anniversary celebration of Jane Gill Public Relations.
The PR guru and her incredible team (known for their kooky Christmas cards) took over Caren’s in Rosedale to host over 100 movers and shakers including clients, media, creative partners and industry friends.
The energy was electric and it was clear that this team was hell-bent on keeping everyone’s spirits up during the dark winter months. Markus Anderson, Suzanne Dimma, Arriz Hassam, Tommy Smythe and Virginia Johnson were more than happy to brave the cold for loads of hospitality, including great wines and over-sized cheese boards.
Jane’s husband Ben stole the show (well, almost) with re-
marks about his partner in life and business.
“Since day one back in 1991 when Jane started representing one single client out of our small flat in Cabbagetown, she’s had an unwavering commitment to conducting business with integrity, meticulousness and polish, which endure as tenets of our agency to this day.”
Although the cocktail do was to end at 8: 30 p. m., revelers stayed well past 11 and skipped home grinning. May the party continue for another 25 years.
