Highway 19 bridge closed all weekend

Some major road closures to note this weekend:

Highway 19: The Papineau-leblanc Bridge, connecting Laval and Montreal, is closed in both directions until 4:30 a.m. Monday. Mercier Bridge: One lane is open in each direction until 11 a.m. Saturday. The entrance from Airlie St. is closed during this time. Highway 20: In Lachine, the westbound entrance from 1st Ave. is closed until 1 p.m. Sunday.

Route 116: In St-bruno, the highway is closed eastbound between Highway 30 and Seigneuria­l Blvd. until 9 a.m. Saturday and again from 7 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday.

Route 134: In Longueuil, the entrance to Taschereau Blvd. eastbound from St-charles St. west is closed until 5 a.m. Monday for asphalt work.

MONTREAL STREETS

■ Marcel-laurin Blvd. (Route 117) is closed in both directions between Décarie Blvd. and St-louis St. in St-laurent until 5 a.m. Monday.

■ PIE-IX Blvd. (Route 125) has two of three lanes closed overnights southbound at Gouin Blvd., which will prevent left turns toward Henri-bourassa Blvd. eastbound.

■ Viger Ave. is closed between Sanguinet St. and Hôtel-de-ville Ave. until Monday.

■ St-antoine St. is closed in St-henri between Agnès and St-ferdinand streets until fall 2026. Traffic is eastbound-only between Rose-delima St. and Atwater Ave., and in both directions between Rose-delima and Agnès.

REM

■ A systems update will delay the start of service on the Réseau express métropolit­ain Saturday and Sunday to 7:30 a.m. Shuttle buses are available between 5:30 and 7:30 a.m.

UPCOMING

Highway 40: Work to replace the concrete slabs on the Metropolit­an Expressway begins on Monday, continuing until fall. This will require complete closure of the highway overnights and service roads on nights and weekends, particular­ly around the Décarie Interchang­e.

Highway 20: In Dorval, the ramp from Sources Blvd. south to Highway 20 east will be closed from June 21 until the end of August, as will the ramp that connects the northbound and southbound lanes on Sources. The pedestrian overpass is closed until the beginning of October.
