Avoid these orange-coned trouble spots

Transport Quebec is warning drivers to avoid parts of the Ville-Marie Expressway, Highway 20 and Highway 13 this weekend. Here are the key trouble spots:

VILLE-MARIE/ HIGHWAY 20

Closed from Friday at midnight to Sunday at 9 a.m.: The westbound portions of the Ville-Marie Expressway and Highway 20, between the exit for the Décarie Expressway northbound and the on-ramp from the Mercier Bridge. This closure will mean that three ramps in the Turcot Interchang­e will also be closed, including: from the Décarie southbound to Highway 20 westbound; Highway 15 northbound to Highway 20 westbound; and from the Ville-Marie to the Décarie.

HIGHWAY 13

Two sections of northbound Highway 13 and one section of the southbound highway will be closed over the weekend.

The northbound section between Exit 3-E (A-520 East, Montée de Liesse) and the on-ramps from Gouin and Henri-Bourassa Blvds. will be closed during these times: Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday at 7 a.m.; Saturday at midnight to Sunday at 8 a.m.; and Sunday at 11 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m.

The northbound section between Exit 6 (A-40, Gatineau, Quebec) and the on-ramp from Highway 40 westbound will be closed during these times: Saturday at 7 a.m. to Sunday at 12:30 a.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The southbound section between the Exit 6 (A-40, Gatineau, Quebec) and the on-ramp from Highway 520 westbound will be closed between Friday at 11 p.m. and Saturday at 6 a.m.
