SUN YOUTH’S ANNUAL CAMPAIGN IN A BRAND NEW SETTING!
The organization embarks on its 64th Annual Holiday campaign and will be offering its services from a new temporary location.
Sun Youth is preparing to welcome 12,000 guests in need this Holiday season. For the first time since 1981, we will be greeting and helping them from a new temporary location. After 37 years in the former Baron Byng High School, our emergency assistance services will be provided from a new temporary building on 6700, Parc Avenue as of November 20th, 2018. During this time of sharing and compassion, we will need to dig deeper than ever to help each of these families. Once again this December, we are inviting thousands of less fortunate families to celebrate the Holidays with us this year. Our organization will distribute 5,000 food baskets and some 5,000 new toys to children under 12 years old. Help us make sure these families know that they are not alone, that thousands of donors and volunteers are behind them to support them and are there to help, when it is needed the most. More than ever we need your support to continue our mission of helping the community throughout the year. This relocation that kicks off around November 16th will be very taxing on our resources. Therefore, we are making an urgent appeal to the public and companies to be generous. This is the perfect opportunity to organize a food or new toy drive at work or in your circles. You can also make monetary donations on our website. Don’t hesitate to share with us your generosity on our social media with the hashtag #givetoday and inspire others to do the same. We are counting on your invaluable support to make this time of year a moment of joy for the people who need it the most.
