Midget 15s lose two close weekend games at home

It was a tough weekend for the Midget 15 Tigers.

The team played two games at the Hockey Hounds Arena, and came out on the losing end both Friday and Saturday.

Friday the club lost their match against CRAA Gold in a high-scoring affair, 7-5.

The team had little rest before their Saturday afternoon tilt with CRAA Blue.

Despite getting four goals from Kyden Moore, the Tigers were unable to come out with a victory.

Goalie Gage Reimer made 25 saves in the loss and faced 17 shots in the second period.

The team is on the road this weekend, playing CRAA Gold Saturday and the CBHA Blackhawks Sunday.

Midget AA

The Can Pak Environmen­tal Midget AA Hounds didn’t have the weekend they were hoping for, dropping one game and typing another.

The team tied the Red Deer Elks 1-1 Saturday, with one goal coming from Matt Lafferty. The goal was assisted by Zachery Dovichak and Ethan Boutkan

Aidan Kruger was in net for the tie with 22 saves.

Medicine Hat dominated the shot category 37-22.

The team then lost a tough game against the West Central Tigers Sunday, dropping the tilt 6-5.

Dawsen Savage was in net, then relieved by Aiden Kruger in the third period.

West Central outshot the Medicine Hat Hounds 45-39.

The Midget AA Hounds are on the road on Friday to play Foothills and at home on Saturday to play Red Deer.

Bantam AAA

The SEAC Tigers played one game this weekend, and came out on top of their game against the Okotoks Oilers.

The local squad came away with a 43 win.

Callen Prosofsky, Vann Yuhas, Jase Fleury and Ty Moore scored for the Tigers.

The team hosts Lethbridge Wednesday at the Hockey Hounds arena at 6 p.m., then plays two games at home on the weekend.

Peewee AA

The Peewee Hounds played one game on the weekend, and the team won big by a score of 8-2 against Cranbrook.

Beck Boiteau stood tall in net for the Hounds, making 23 saves. Medicine Hat fired 37 the other way.

The team plays two home games this weekend at the Moose.

Bantam AA

It was a good weekend on home ice for the Bantam Hounds.

The team played two games at the Moose, and came away with a victory Saturday and a draw Sunday.

Medicine Hat took down Okotoks 42 Saturday, then tied Olds Sunday.

The team plays home games Saturday and Sunday.
