Because of available grant funding, the City is reopening intake to the grant program, it said in a news release on Thursday.

Organizations that missed the spring enrollment can apply for funding through this new intake period with funding available in two streams, says the City.

Stream A covers professional services for planning and design phases. Stream B funds actual construction, renovation or retrofitting of facilities. This stream can also fund the purchase of major equipment or enhancements to facility technology.

Grant projects must be eligible for matching funds. Organizations will need to line up additional funding sources to make the project happen, says the City.

CCPG can cover up to half of the costs for Stream A projects, with a cap of $25,000 per project. Stream B projects are eligible for up to one-third of the approved expenses, with a maximum of $200,000 per project. Projects can apply for funding in only one stream per grant cycle.

The application deadline for the new intake is July 15. For more information and to apply, please click here and for additional questions, organizations can email grants@lethbridge.ca.
