Sign Language for Babies and Bond to Literacy programs at Family Place, Summerside, Tuesdays until Feb. 20. Baby Signs, 9:30-11:30 a.m., helps children develop language and cognitive skills. Teen Book Club for grades 8 through 12, meet every month at Summerside Rotary Library, Inspire Learning Centre, 57 Central St. Reading group, featuring book either suggested by members or one library staff suggests for reading and discussing. Library staff offers background on author and book’s setting and answer points raised.

Drop-In and Advisory Group

Teen Drop-in Tuesdays for choice of social space or quiet space for studying and schoolwork. Weekly activities, board games, Wi-Fi, gaming, study space, resume help, healthy snacks. Also, Advisory Group for ages 13 to 18. Have a say in what happens at library; earn volunteer hours and build leadership skills, while having fun. Both at Summerside Rotary Library, Inspire Learning Centre.
