Dec. 12 - Annual KRHS Christmas Concert @ 6:30 p.m. featuring the KRHS Concert Band. Dec. 20 - Christmas Turkey Dinner at noon for the entire student body. No charge.

THE BLAZER BLIZZARD

The Blazer Blizzard Christmas dance will be held on Saturday,

Dec. 2, from 8 to 11 p.m. This was the biggest dance last year and it was a blast! You don’t need to have a date, just show up as many did. Dress is semiformal.

REMEMBRANC­E DAY SERVICE

Thank you to members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 Borden-Carleton for participat­ing in our Remembranc­e Day Service on Nov. 8. A special thanks to Peter Wynne and the KRHS Band, Ryan McAleer, Grace Smith, Elisa Carota, Shiane Simpson, Callie Thomson, Rebecca Green, Molly Millman, Mya Farris, Dakota MacWilliam­s, Amber Harvey, Maura Duffy, and Liam Arsenault. Thank you also to Peter Wynne and the KRHS band members for participat­ing in local Remembranc­e Day services in Borden-Carleton and Kinkora on Nov. 11.

KRHS LIBRARY

The library is always happy to accept donations of both fiction and non-fiction titles. We are also in need of some additional resources for the P.E.I. History section. KRHS teacher librarian is Shelley Tremere.

MUSIC NEWS

Concert Band rehearsals run every Tuesday from 3:10-4:40 p.m. The Annual KRHS Christmas Concert will be held on Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m.

THE BLAZER BISTRO

On Nov. 23, The Blazer Bistro served a delicious Slow Cooker Chicken with Mom’s Scalloped Potatoes, and a side of peas, carrots, and mustard pickles all for the price of $4. Many thanks to Jessica Reeves and her Culinary 801 class.
