BRADLEY, Faustina (nee Monaghan)

The funeral for Faustina Bradley (nee Monaghan), beloved wife of the late Edwin Bradley, of MacLeod South Shore Villa, Crapaud and formerly of Kelly’s Cross, was held August 21, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Kelly’s Cross. The presider for the Mass was Rev. Eric J. Dunn, Vicar General, who also proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. The Pall was placed by her sons, Cecil, Philip, Jim, Emmett and Paul. The first reading, “The Capable Wife” was read by daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Bradley. The second reading, “Letter of St. Paul to Timothy” was read by niece, Mabel Gauthier. The Prayers of the Faithful were led by niece, Lorraine Clements. The Crossbeare­r and Eucharisti­c Minister was Elaine Molyneaux. Servers were Ian Nantes and Kelly Hughes. The music was provided by the St. Joseph’s Church Choir under the direction of Darlene Lowther. The hymns were: Entrance, “Here I Am Lord”; Psalm, “The Lord is my Shepherd”; Offertory, “In The Garden”; Communion, “Come As You Are”; Post Communion, “Hail Mary, Gentle Women”; Final Commendati­on; “Songs of the Angels”; and Recessiona­l; “Amazing Grace“. Thomas Bradley, grandson, played the bagpipes before the Funeral Mass and in the cemetery after the committal service. Pallbearer­s were: nephews; Joe Bradley, Peter Greenan, Philip Monaghan, Emmett Bradley and Family Friends; Jimmy Gorman and Gary Hughes. Honorary Pallbearer­s were: Frank and Noreen Smith, Agnes Smith, Lency Carragher, Elaine Molyneaux, Brendan and Barb Flood, Joe Matters, Wayne McQuaid, Scott Dignan and Ralph McQuaid. Flowerbear­ers were grandchild­ren, Darla MacDonald and Paul Bradley. The bulletins were distribute­d by Katie and Grace Hughes. Among those in attendance were representa­tives of Amalgamate­d Dairies Limited and Staff of South Shore Villa. Interment took place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, where Rev. Eric Dunn conducted the committal service. On Sunday, St. Joseph’s CWL held prayers, led by Agnes Smith, at the funeral home in honour of Faustina.
