Teens charged with armed robbery of store
Suspects led police on chase after shots at city townhouse
Three teens have been linked to an armed robbery of a convenience store and resulting incidents that led to a policeinvolved shooting at a west Edmonton townhouse early Thursday.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team is investigating the shooting, which happened shortly after 5:45 a.m. after officers responded to a weapons complaint at the Point West townhouses, near 96th Avenue and 180th Street.
People fled the townhouse, leading police on a chase that ended west of the city on Highway 628 between Range Road 260 and 231st Street. Police fired shots, leaving one male with minor injuries from a gunshot.
Six people were taken into custody. Two were released without charges.
An adult was charged with two counts of breaching a court order.

Two of them were charged with robbery with a firearm, weapons charges and various breaches. A third was charged with criminal flight, along with weapons charges.
