Screaming Eagles players make final rankings for NHL draft.

SYDNEY — Three members of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles made NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings for the 2014 NHL draft in Philadelph­ia, June 2728.

Forwards Julien Pelletier, Clark Bishop and Cameron Darcy are listed among the North American skaters available.

Pelletier finished third in the league among rookies in points with 25 goals and 25 assists in 67 games.

The 17-year-old forward from Gatineau, Que., set a team rookie record for goals in a season in 2013-14. The 5- 11, 178pound winger is ranked No. 62 among North American skaters.

Bishop, of St. John’s, N. L., scored 14 goals and chipped in 19 assists for 33 points in 56 games, all career highs, to go along with 54 minutes in penalties.

]The 6-0, 184pound centre was a member of Canada’s under18 team that won gold at the 2013 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Tournament, held Aug. 5-10 in Breclave, Czech Republic, and Piestany, Slovakia. He’s pegged at No. 104. Darcy, of Boston, Mass., is an overage potential draft choice at 20 years old.

The 6- 0, 185- pound centre led the Screaming Eagles in scoring in his first season in the QMJHL with 35 goals and 47 assists for 82 points in 65 games.

Darcy, who won gold at the 2012 IIHF World Under- 18 Hockey Championsh­ip with Team U.S.A., is ranked at No. 171.

Nikolaj Ehlers of the Halifax Mooseheads is the top-ranked QMJHL player among North American skaters at No. 13.

The top-ranked QMHL goaltender is Mason McDonald of the Charlottet­own Islanders at No. 2.

Screaming Eagles goaltender Alex Bureau was pegged at No. 27 among North American goaltender­s in the mid-term rankings, but wasn’t listed in the final rank.

Centre Samuel Bennett of the Kingston Frotenacs is pegged as the No. 1-ranked player among North American skaters, while winger Kasperi Kapanen of Kalpa in Finland is the top European skater.

Among North American netminders, Thatcher Demko of Boston College is ranked first, while Ville Husso of HIFK in Finland is the top-ranked European goaltender.
