22 new lots in Harmony
Summer may be slipping away, but the developers of Springbank’s first lake community are planning for next year with the release of new lots with exclusive lake access.
Qualico Communities and Bordeaux Developments, developers of Harmony in Rocky View County, have just added 22 lots with exclusive access to Harmony’s 16-hectare (40-acre) freshwater lake. Lot widths are 42 feet to 44 feet for move-up homes by Baywest Homes, Broadview Homes and Sterling Homes, and 50 feet to 60 feet for estate homes by Augusta Fine Homes, Baywest Homes or Calbridge Homes.
Prices start in the $680,000s for move-up product and the $930,000s for estate models.
The lots back onto private pathways which lead to a shared dock and reserved lake access, says Laurel Lapointe, Bordeaux marketing manager.
“This is a limited opportunity to work with one of our distinguished builders in Harmony to build a home that reflects personal style and create a retreat to share with family and friends,” she says.
It was a busy summer for the community eight minutes west of Calgary. The Mickelson National Golf Club began operations and the Discovery Centre was relocated closer to the Adventure Park, a multi-faceted facility with a beach volleyball court, an allwheel pump track and flow plaza, dog run, toboggan hill and skating ribbon. The first phase will open this fall.
Construction also began on the South Beach Building, which will house changing rooms, washrooms, outdoor showers and bike racks. The entire park is expected to be finished in three years.
In August, Streetside Developments opened Harmony Peaks, the community’s first multi-family show home, and Harmony was awarded its third BILD award for Community of the Year, Calgary Region.
Groupe Nordik announced in February that it would invest more than $45 million in Harmony with the creation of a world class spa, expected to create 400 full and part-time jobs once opened.
Current home types available from Harmony’s elite builder group include the Birch Collection of townhomes from the $470,000s, the Poplar Collection of single-family homes from the $580,000s, the Willow Collection of villa bungalows priced from the high $700,000s, and at the top end, the Tamarack Collection of estate and lakefront homes from the $930,000s.
Show homes in Harmony are open Monday to Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m., weekends and holidays from noon to 5 p.m. with some builders available Thursdays. Details at liveinharmony.ca.
