ISBS CElEBrAtEs its first virtual graduation ceremony

Thank you for that warm welcome! And let me also offer my congratulations to the class of 2020. I am humbled to be part of this graduation ceremony, and it’s a great honour for me to address you on behalf of other ISBS graduates.

Name: Mr. Ogone Olesitse

Course: Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship

Designation: Self Employed Entrepreneur

Obtaining a bachelor’s degree is a grand achievement not only for me, but also for the ISBS family, who contributed mostly to this success. Learning at ISBS was enjoyable for me and the power of entrepreneurial knowledge which I have obtained there, which positively influenced me to start my own business and to become an entrepreneur which I am today!

To my fellow graduates, we cannot deny the fact that there’s lack of employment here in Botswana, and that is why we are experiencing rapid increase of unemployed graduates yearly.

What does it mean to us? From my own perspective, it means that we should all stand up for ourselves and try to create our own employment. Knowledge without its application is useless, therefore we should all make impactful use of what we have acquired! Not only for ourselves, but also for developing our nation at large.

Rather than saying anything more, I recommend services of Imperial School of Business and Science (ISBS) to many people out there, most especially Form 5 leavers who are willing to learn business related courses, Imperial School of Business and

Science (ISBS) is the right place for you. My sincerest thanks to everyone! Let there be pride in your eyes, hope in your hearts and glory in your minds.

Ohhh yes, we did it!

Thank you.

1. Good day. Accept our hearty congratulations for your graduation!

Thank you very much. 2. Being a graduate and a top achiever at ISBS, how do you feel it right now? I am overwhelmed, excited and proud of myself to be a Top Achiever in BBA in Entrepreneurship.

3. Please share with us, how did ISBS prepare / support you to become a successful graduate and fit for the industry? Share us your experience.

Since the college is in partnership with the students, parents and lecturers and there is teamwork between them all.

Lectures are professional, they taught us professionality, confidence in what we want in life and to be the best out of ourselves. The college also taught me good ethics that are being used in our everyday life.

4. What advice would you like to give to the aspiring Form 5 leavers about ISBS?

Know who you are, what you want in life, whom you want to be, set SMART goals, pursue your dream and live your dream. Be resilient and optimistic as it won’t be easy but hard work pays. And also choose the right places, ISBS, to grow your skills, not forgetting to be humble and respectful at all times.

5. As a top achiever graduate, what would you like to say to the youth, be it current students or your peers, especially now in these trying times of Covid-19?

Be focused, in order to excel one must believe in themselves that they can do it despite all the challenges of life. Know where you want to be, run the race for indeed you will achieve. Avoid and put negativities aside. Never quit in life but keep on pursuing your dreams.

6. Thank you very much for joining us today and good luck for your

future endeavours.
