Kelebogile Retlhotswe walks away with a double- door Samsung Fridge on a Mother’s Day challenge

ey say a good home starts with hearty meals and on this past Mother’s Day celebratio­n, Choppies Botswana in collaborat­ion with Robertsons- Unilever set a kitchen competitio­n to encourage scrumptiou­s dishes. is was an e ‹ ort between the two brands to appreciate motherhood in light of Mother’s Day 2024. e beautiful Kelebogile Retlhotswe walked away with the grand prize of a brand new Samsung double door fridge after beating others to the cook- o ‹ challenge themed, ‘ spicy mom’ which was derived from the Robertsons’ tag line, the spice people. Interestin­gly, she was given a chance to participat­e by her boss, Monkgogi Dikota who entered on her behalf as Kelebogile does not have a smart phone. e second winner walked away with Samsung washing machine, while the third winner got a prize of Samsung 55 inches smart TV and the fourth winner won a Samsung Microwave.

Marketing and Public Relations O Ž cer at Choppies Botswana, Kebonyemod­isa Kebonyemod­isa highlighte­d that they deliberate­ly chose their theme to describe how versatile mothers are. “We chose our theme to describe our mothers as spicy, meaning that they are very dynamic, strong people who add ž avour to all our lives as their children and the overall community,” he said. e competitor­s of the day utilized Choppies and Robertsons spice products to serve their di ‹ erent amazing meals. Mothers were happy to be part of the campaign and felt appreciate­d. ey attended the event with their children who enjoyed playing on the jumping castles set to embrace the day and some good music too.
