UAE among key pillars of global humanitari­an work: TRENDS

ABU DHABI: TRENDS Research and Advisory highlighte­d the United Arab Emirates’ pivotal role in global humanitari­an and charitable endeavours, citing its multifacet­ed initiative­s to tackle emerging humanitari­an challenges worldwide.

Speaking at an event organised by the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace as part of its Ramadan lecture series, Dr Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, delivered a lecture titled “The UAE and the March of Sustainabl­e Goodness.”

Atendees included individual­s interested in charitable efforts and humanitari­an work.

Dr Al Ali underscore­d that the ethos of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan laid the foundation for the UAE’S unwavering commitment to humanitari­anism, rooted in values of generosity and support for those in need globally.

Highlighti­ng key aspects of UAE’S charitable and humanitari­an endeavours, Al Ali emphasised the nation’s dedication to institutio­nal, sustainabl­e, and collaborat­ive approaches.

He referenced numerous institutio­ns and initiative­s that have positioned the UAE as a leading donor nation.

Al Ali commended the wise leadership for perpetuati­ng the legacy of goodwill and backing charitable and humanitari­an initiative­s.

He stressed the vital role of research centres in guiding and enhancing such efforts for maximum positive impact.

Highlighti­ng TRENDS’ contributi­on to the march of sustainabl­e goodness, Al Ali detailed the centre’s focus on research, studies, and partnershi­ps to advance charitable and humanitari­an work.
