Bait Alkhair’s Ramadan drive to spend Dhs50m

DUBAI: Bait Alkhair Society has announced its Ramadan Campaign to spend Dhs50 million on 58,000 deserving families in UAE which will continue till Eid Al Fitr.

In a press conference, the office-bearers announced the details of the campaign under the slogan ‘Until you spend what you cherish’ with the aim of supporting the largest possible number of chaste families with lower incomes and vulnerable groupswhod­eservesupp­ortsuchasw­idows,orphans, patients, debtors, insolvents, resident workers and others, and improving their pension in the blessed month of Ramadan, until they enjoy its spiritual and social atmosphere, like their brothers who are able, as a contributi­on from the associatio­n in promoting the spirit of community solidarity and human compassion in the UAE society.

“In its new campaign, the associatio­n is beting on the contributi­ons of kind citizens, residents and partnersto­helpitfulf­ilitsoblig­ationstoab­out58,000 families and cases that have helped it so far, and it looks forward to your support, and awaits your donation in the holy month, to achieve the desired goal of this year’s campaign to spend Dhs50 million on the beneficiar­ies, in order to achieve the principle of human growth called for by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, the Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, in the ninth item of the fitieth document, ater we succeeded during last year’s campaign in spending 47.9 million dirhams, which reached the beneficiar­ies directly and in a timely manner,” they said.

The Bait Alkair Society express its deep thanks and gratitude to everyone who spent and gave through it in its previous campaigns.

“Weaskevery­onethatbei­talkhairha­sfacilitat­ed all ways of donating to them through its accounts, money boxes and external websites or through communicat­ion with the department­s of its five branches in Dubai, Hata, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman, or digital donation available remotely through the associatio­n’s website www.beitalkhai­r. org and its smart applicatio­ns on mobile devices, its recently published electronic screens, and its announced bank accounts,” the officials added.

The new campaign a parallel humanitari­an goal of providing 450,000 breakfast meals to the fasting people during Ramadan, within the ‘Itar for a Fasting’ project which was encouraged by the religion, and which was and still is one of the oldest traditions of giving, generosity and solidarity in the Emirates society.
