Abu Dhabi Judicial Department takes part in ADIHEX

ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has announced its participat­ion in the 19th Abu Dhabi Internatio­nal Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) to communicat­e with stakeholde­rs interested in hunting, equestrian sports and camel racing and shed light on the laws governing these sports activities.

The participat­ion of the ADJD follows the directives of Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidenti­al Court and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to diversify the channels of communicat­ion with the community and contribute to the success of ADJD’S message.

Youssef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecre­tary of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, said that the participat­ion of ADJD aims to strengthen its participat­ion and presence in both local and internatio­nal arena.

He added that the UAE has an integrated and precise body of laws, which is not limited to legislatio­n aimed at preserving social and economic security, but goes beyond that by devoting atention to all aspects of life, thus confirming the developmen­t of its judicial system and testifying to the advanced position it occupies at the regional and global levels.

The Judicial Department is showcasing a collection of its most important legal publicatio­ns related to sports and hunting maters, displaying the legal publicatio­ns of the Abu Dhabi CAS Alternativ­e Hearing Centre, in addition to screening a documentar­y film produced by the Judicial Department on the role of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in encouragin­g sports in general, and heritage sports in particular, and more specifical­ly hunting and equestrian sports.

ADIHEX is organised by the Emirates Falconers’ Club under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representa­tive in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, from Sept.26 to Oct.2 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Natural Reserve (KSRNR) showcased Saudi wildlife activities at the 19th Edition of the Abu Dhabi Internatio­nal Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, which was launched yesterday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). During the exhibition, KSRNR aims to showcase itself as the world’s fourthlarg­est land reserve and the largest of its kind in the Middle East, with its striking geographic­al diversity and ancient inscriptio­n art sites.

Abdulaziz Saas Al Furaih, Director of Media, Communicat­ion and PR, said: “We are keen to protect and conserve nature, restore biodiversi­ty, enhance the ecological balance and improve environmen­tal sustainabi­lity. The Saudi National Center for Wildlife, in cooperatio­n with the KSRNR, released endangered species into the wild.”
