UAE University launches Human Development Report
ABU DHABI: The Centre for Public Policy and Leadership at the United Arab Emirates University, UAEU, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP, has issued the UAE’S Human Development Report of 2018.
Professor Mohamed Albaili, UAEU Vice Chancellor, stressed that issuing this report in the Year of Zayed highlights the role of the founding father in laying the foundations of the UAE’S renaissance in different walks of life. The report contributes to enhancing the developmental policies and promoting leadership of the UAE Human Development value. It also contributes to achieving the UAE vision of 2021 and Abu Dhabi Vision of 2030 through focusing on vital sectors like the economy, education, health, job market, and social policies.
The report relects the active collaboration between the UAEU centre for Public Policy and Leadership and the United Nations Development Programme. It also shows how the centre actively seeks to enhance partnerships with international organisations to exchange expertise and support UAE decision-making process, contributing to achieving UAE’S leadership vision.
Issuing the report by the UAEU centre for Public Policy and Leadership is a testament that the centre is keeping peace with the UAE Human Development and that it is keen on improving UAE Human Development value and sustainability to promote human life in the UAE, as aspired by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
