UAE STUDENTS EXCEL IN CBSE EXAMINATIO­NS

SHARJAH: It was celebratio­n time at Indian schools in the UAE as they achieved 100 per cent pass result in the Grade 10 annual examinatio­n conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, against 98.3 per cent pass rate for foreign students and 86.70 per cent success rate all over India.

The Indian High School, Dubai, students proved their calibre with a 100 per cent pass result. Among the 783 boys and girls who appeared for the examinatio­n, 238 students scored 90 per cent and above. Sreelakshm­i Gangadhara­n topped in the school with 98 per cent. Shreya Ramesh Kamath came second with 97.4 per cent. Third place was shared by four students Harshita Durai Babu, Kumud Prakash, Saumya Mukund Gogte and Zain Ali. Each of them scored 97.2 per cent.

At Sharjah Indian School, Sharjah, all 490 students passed with high scores, while 71 students secured 90 per cent and above marks. Aarcha Satheesh kumar and Maaiza Siraj shared the top spot scoring 96.4 per cent each. Second rank was shared by Liyana Sunil Najeeb and Abhijith Surendran scoring 95.8 per cent marks. Third rank was achieved by Nahla Muhammed Shameem with 95.6 per cent.

New Indian Model School, Sharjah, achieved 100 per cent success with excellent scores. Mohamed Farook (95.2 per cent) stood irst, Adith K Giridharan (95 per cent) came second. Amrath Haris and Preethy Bijoy shared third spot securing 94.2 per cent each.

New Indian Model School, Dubai also reported 100 per cent success as all 282 students who appeared for the examinatio­n came out with lying colours. Shahma Kausar stood irst with 96.8 per cent, Devu Jayakumar stood second with 96.4 per cent and Anjala Santhosh Parveen stood third with 95.2 per cent.

At The Central School Dubai, Rahat Mulla and Aysha Asif shared top slot with 93.4 per cent each. Fatima Sahwa (91.2 per cent) came second and Dhruvi Gangani (91 per cent) came third.

At Gulf Indian High School, Dubai, 21 out of 125 candidates got above 90 per cent marks. Anagha Jayarajan topped with 97.8 per cent. Abishek Sreekumar Nair came second with 97.2 per cent. Sreelakshm­i Pullanikka­l stood third with 96.8 per cent.

Indian Excellent Pvt. School, Sharjah, also reported 100 pass result with most of the students scoring 90 per cent or above in various subjects.

At The Emirates National School, Sharjah, Mariyam Naseer stood irst with 97 per cent, me en a ks hy jay apr ab han came second with (96.6 per cent). Third position went to Ranjana Kambhammet­tu (96 per cent).

Habitat School-al Jurf, Ajman, also reported 100 per cent pass result as all 154 passed with good score. Diphesh Samyani obtained A1 in all ive subjects with an aggregate of 94.4 per cent.

At Internatio­nal Indian School, Ajman, all 143 students who appeared for the exam came out successful­ly. 10 students secured above 90 per cent marks. Neha Arunkumar stood irst with 97 per cent, Aksa Philip came second with 94.2 per cent, while Abhinav Anil stood third with 92.4 per cent.

At Indian School, Ras Al Khaimah, Najiya Habeeb got the top honour with 97 per cent. Gautham Biju stood second with 95.2 per cent, followed by Muhammed Salman P. M. (95 per cent) in third position.
