Jennifer Aniston reveals

Let’s go, Aniston!” The loud voice chanting at the RitzCarlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, California, on June 11 belonged to Adam Sandler, cheering on his pal during a press conference for their new Netflix comedy Murder Mystery (out now). After a touch-up by her hairstylist, Chris McMillan, former Friends star Jennifer Aniston strode into the room in signature style – golden tan, flowing hair and huge smile. Says a source: “She really loves her life.”

After three decades in the spotlight – and almost a year and a half since her split from second husband Justin Theroux – Aniston has plenty to celebrate. Tighter than ever with her longtime circle of girlfriends, she joined Friends co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox to celebrate Cox’s birthday on June 15, and jetted off with Cox and pals afterwards to her favourite holiday spot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She’s also working steadily: along with Murder Mystery, she’s filming the highly anticipated Apple TV series The Morning Show with Reese Witherspoon. “Jen has been very positive and upbeat recently,” a showbusiness source close to the actress says. “She’s super busy with her career, and is genuinely happy and fulfilled by her work.”

For Murder Mystery, a comedy about a married couple who go on a European

holiday and become suspects in a murder, Aniston, 50, travelled to gorgeous locations such as Lake Como, Italy. “It was like being at summer camp,” she says.

She was also thrilled to team up again with friend Sandler, her co-star in 2011’s Just Go With It. “It’s just like no time had passed. Well, except he is a lot older now,” she joked. Sandler was equally excited. “When we work together, I feel so relaxed. I’m like, ‘If I don’t know what’s happening right now, I know Jennifer will.’ I feel very safe,” says Sandler, adding, “Plus, she’s funny as hell.”

Since her divorce from Theroux, 47, Aniston, who was married to Brad Pitt, 55, from 2000 to 2005, hasn’t been dating seriously, sources say. “It’s not because she

doesn’t want to, but because there just hasn’t been time for her to focus on it,” says another insider. “Shooting a show is intense.” Adds the show business source: “She will be cautious [about dating again]. If something comes into her life that’s fine, but she is not sitting on the edge of her seat.” Aniston told Harper’s Bazaar in May, “When [love] comes knocking, it’s going to be welcomed. I’m not like, ‘No, I’m done with that.’ ”

For now, she’s excited for her return to TV with The Morning Show, 15 years after saying goodbye to Friends – and she’s content with her world as it is. Says the insider, “She knows that she lives a very fun life, and she’s extremely grateful for it all.”
