DUDES TALKING IT UP

They have clocked up a lot of Supercars miles between them and now they are clocking up the chatter on their new online talk show

It is billed by the pair as no-holds barred, with no topic taboo

PAUL “The Dude” Morris and

Russell “The Enforcer” Ingall are Gold Coast motorsport veterans feeling quite revved up right now.

They are having a crack at their own online chat show dedicated to all things car and truck racing.

It is billed by the pair as no-holds barred, with no topic taboo and driven by what they feel fans want.

It did not take long into the first episode, shared on social media, to fire up on the show they are calling Bench Racing.

Morris, who has won a Bathurst, pointed out the self-produced show meant they “can do what we want”.

“It’s no secret all major categories throughout the world – Formula One, MotoGP, Supercars – they all control their own TV production and the reporting can get a bit vanilla, so we are going to spice it up,’’ he tells viewers in the first episode.

Ingall, a Supercars champion who drove at the top level into his 50s, then did exactly that. “I’m just a punter now, and I look at it and I can definitely tell that everything’s not being told, you know it’s being glossed over a little bit because obviously in that sort of situation you’re not going to throw garbage in your own back yard, are you?”

Morris interjected as Ingall was about to move on and he put Ingall on the spot about him no longer being on Fox discussing Supercars.

“You’re not getting away with it – what happened, why aren’t you on Fox any more? Tell us what went down because everyone is blowing up and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen you more popular than Craig Lowndes with fans,” in reference to the latter now taking his spot on Fox.

The pair plan to do regular shows broadcast out of the Norwell Motor Complex Bumper Bar as well as promoting it on a YouTube channel where it can be found under The Enforcer and The Dude.
