Headway Gippsland would like to say thank you to their wonderful team of volunteers. We truly value the time you give and the difference you make to the people you support. We are very lucky to have you as part of our team assisting and enriching the lives of the participan­ts in our Social Support groups right across Gippsland.

Recently our Warragul Social Support group held a brainstorm­ing session and came up with the following to thank our volunteers – H – Helpful E – Encouragin­g A – Always cheerful D – Dependable W – Willing to Help A – Able to assist Y – Young at heart V – Valuable O – Original L – Lively U – Understand­ing N – Never cranky T – Terrific E – Energetic E – Enthusiast­ic R – Ready and Resourcefu­l S – Smiley, special people If you are interested in making a difference in someone’s life by volunteeri­ng at one of our Social Support Groups please give us a call. On a weekly, even daily basis, volunteers from local church groups, volunteers from the Warragul RSL, volunteers from local schools and community groups, volunteer family members, friends and individual­s and as well as many resident volunteers, donate their time in so many and varied ways to enhance the life and lifestyle of the entire Fairview Village community.

In National Volunteer Week the Fairview Village community would like to express their sincere and grateful thanks to all our registered volunteers who play such an important part in our life and really do make a difference.
