Using Yarn A, ch109.
3tr in 5th ch from hook, *skip 3 ch, (dc, ch3, 3tr) in next ch; repeat from * across to last 4 ch, skip 3 ch, dc in last ch, turn.
Fasten off. Row 2 (WS)
Join Yarn B in first dc, ch4, 3tr in 4th ch from hook, skip next 3 tr, *(dc, ch3, 3tr) in next ch-3 sp, skip next dc and 3 tr; repeat from * across to end, dc in ch-4 sp at end, turn.
Fasten off. Rows 3-61
Repeat Row 2, alternating colour each row through Yarn C, Yarn A, Yarn B, ending with Yarn A, do not fasten off.
Using Yarn A, *ch6, skip next 3 tr, dc in next ch-3 sp, skip next dc and 3 tr; repeat from * across ending with dc in ch-4 sp at end.
Row 62 Fasten off. BORDER Round 1
With RS facing, join Yarn D in first ch on opposite side of foundation chain, ch3 (counts as tr), tr evenly around all four sides of the blanket, adding a ch-3 sp at each corner. Work 3tr into each ch-sp and 1tr into each dc.
Round 2
Ch1 (does not count as st), dc in each st around, working (2dc, ch2, 2dc) into each ch-3 corner sp, ss to first dc to join.
Fasten off.
The stripes really show off the tulip stitches – choose your own colours if you prefer.
