Ateneo band performs today at Cagayan de Oro university

THE ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA University Concert Band performs today, 7:30 p.m., at Rodelsa Hall, Liceo de Cagayan University in Cagayan de Oro City.

Founded in 1932 and reorganized in 1952, it is now on a roll under the baton of professor Apolonio G. Enriquez. The band has won the Zamboanga Brass Band competition thrice—in 2001, 2002 and 2008—winning even over themilitary bands (like Southcom and PAF Bands).

The concert tour (call the Office of Cultural and Public Affairs at Liceo de Cagayan University at 88-8584093 to 95 local 249; e-mail rodelsahall@liceo.edu.ph) celebrates the 150 years of the return of the Jesuits to the Philippines and 100 years of the Ate- neo de Zamboanga University from 1912-2012.

For the Rodelsa Hall concert, student tickets are at P100 while regular tickets are at P200.
