BRUCE SAMAZAN
Madagascan-born Bruce has a unique claim to fame: he’s the only actor to have played regular roles in Australia’s “Big Three” soap operas of the 1990s – E Street, Neighbours and Home And Away.
But despite becoming a household name, the spiky-haired hunk gave up acting in 2000. The Silver Logie winner worked as a real estate agent in Wollongong for several years before moving to Noosa.
The private star, 48, who politely declined to be interviewed for this story, appears to have no desire to return to acting, instead opting for a quiet and happy life fishing and being a doting husband and father to his two daughters.
