GUNNS EYE CUFFY CASH
ARSENAL could be set to profit thanks to a sell-on clause included in the deal to sell England Under-21s right-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy to Genoa in 2024.
Going into yesterday’s game, the 21-year-old (below) had played every minute of Genoa’s Serie A campaign and is now attracting interest from
Inter Milan, Juventus and Napoli.
Norton-Cuffy joined Genoa for an initial £1.75million plus £1.75m in bonuses – and the Gunners negotiated a clause which entitles them to an undisclosed cut of any sell-on profit.
His agents Roc Nation Sports have a strong relationship with Inter in particular as they also represent Nerazzurri stars Luis Henrique and Federico Dimarco.
Henrique, who can play as a right wing-back, moved to the San Siro in the summer but has struggled for minutes. If he leaves Inter in January, NortonCuffy is among the club’s top targets.
